Are you ready for some Fooooooooootbaaaaaaaalllllll?!
It’s playoff time. All you football widows will be reuniting soon with your resurrected husbands.
The only thing I like about football, besides the tight pants, is game food. Sticky chicken wings, chips and dips, and pretty much just the idea you can make a meal out of snack foods makes me a fan.
This crab dip is a favorite here. It is simple and delicious. I guarantee there will not be any left at the end of the game, even with all the other deliciousness you may be serving.
Hot Crab Dip
1 6 oz. can of fancy crab meat
1 c (Hellman’s Real, no low fat stuff!)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried parsley plus a little more to sprinkle on top
A dash of freshly ground pepper
Preheat oven to 375F.
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to a small (I use a mini 6″ pie plate).
Place on a cookie sheet, just to be on the safe side and bake approximately 25-30 minutes until puffy and just starting to brown on the edges.
Serve warm with some hearty, buttery crackers.
Enjoy!
GO PATS!
Along with the dip, here’s some other treats on the menu for tomorrow. What’s on your menu?
